Our introductory sailing programme has officially taken to the water. Working with [instructor/partner name], we welcomed our first group of young people down to [venue] for a morning spent quite literally learning the ropes.
For most of the group it was their first time in a boat. By the end of the session they’d rigged a dinghy, learned the basics of steering and trim, and taken their first turns at the helm.

Sessions are open to [ages X–X] and no experience is needed. All equipment, including buoyancy aids, is provided. Young people just need warm clothes and a change of kit.
